Helpful Information For Real Estate Agents

In an effort to provide my referral sources with the latest information and sales tips, I recently joined a professional marketing group that specializes in helping members set up fan pages designed to gather information from other professionals online and through various other channels.

Here’s a simple 10-word email that a few of my top referral partners have used successfully to revive dead (or old) home buyer leads:

Studies show that OVER 50% of people who inquire about a home purchase will proceed with their plans sometime within the next 18 months.
Most of us stay in touch with prospective customers for 1-3 months, but did you know that only 15% of them will purchase within 90 days?

This means it’s important to stay in contact with your prospects for a longer period of time. One way to do that is to have an automated system in place. For more info on this subject, please go to http://www.toddjsmith.com/contactus.php.

OK, I promised you some FREE info so here’s a tip to capture the old leads that haven’t taken action yet  - even if you haven’t stayed on contact with them.  Below is the email to send them (I’ll explain why it is so effective).
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Subject Line:  Quick question for you…
Body:  Do you still want to buy a house in <City?>
 -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You may be tempted to add to it, but don’t.  It has 3 key things going for it:
  1. It’s short.
  2. It’s personalized.
  3. It’s expecting a response.
If they are truly dead leads, then what do you have to lose? N-O-T-H-I-N-G

Try this and tell me how it works out. It’s a very simple strategy and the best part is that it costs you NOTHING to implement.

Happy selling!
